Account Executives are teamed with Account Managers to provide expertise with extensive market knowledge and up-to-date legislative changes in order to ensure an exceptional client experience. They work with employer clients to assess and educate on the total cost of risk around their human resource practices and employee benefits package.
Tammy Kronebusch joined Winona Agency in 2004. Tammy has over 11 years of service experience in the industry. She assists our large client groups with the annual renewals, benefits strategy and design. Tammy's experience within Winona Agency is vast and includes knowledge of the account manager role, as well as small group, individual and Medicare sales.
Dan Laufenberg joined Winona Agency in September 2013. He came to the agency with six years industry experience, ranging from working from a Minnesota-based carrier to sales and service in both Wisconsin and Arizona. Dan has responsibility for mid and small-sized groups. His team includes Account Manager Rosann Langowski.
Melissa Nadeau joined Winona Agency in 2011. She has served our clients in the Marketing and Account Manager roles previously. She is a graduate of St. Mary's University of Minnesota. She had over four years of experience in benefits insurance before joining the agency. Melissa strategizes with clients to determine optimal benefits for their group. Melissa also works closely with Rosann.
Employee Benefits Small Group & Individual Insurance Specialist
Jim Young, a graduate of University of Wisconsin - Stout, has been with Winona Agency since 1997 and brings over 20 years of experience in the service and administration of group health coverage. Jim provides sales and service for small group accounts as well as individual health insurance and Medicare-related products.
Individual & Family Health Insurance Specialist
Emily Nelson Smith joined Winona Agency in 2003 and has served as the lead for Individual Health Sales since 2005. Her expertise includes individual policies for people of all ages, including Medicare and Part D beneficiaries. Emily has a bachelor's degree from Winona State University.
Account managers are licensed insurance agents who are teamed with Account Executives to provide assistance with technical or service-related questions ranging from membership and billing problems to benefit coverage, eligibility or claims issues, and respond to COBRA, HIPAA and other legislative related questions.
Sue Holzer, Employee Benefits Account Specialist, works with Tammy Kronebusch on large employer accounts and serves as a resource for their clients. She has been with Winona Agency, Inc. since 1993. Sue is a graduate of Winona State University.
Rosann Langowski, Account Manager, joined Winona Agency, Inc. in 2009. Rosann supports the Account Executives in the sales and service of their clients. She also serves as a resource for individual and family, as well as Medicare, insurance needs. Rosann has 14 years of service experience in medical insurance for a major carrier. She has a degree in Sales and Management from Minnesota State College Southeast Technical
Jeanne Hines joined Winona Agency in 2009 as the Employee Benefits Department Manager. She has responsibilities for the overall direction of the department. Jeanne has over 20 years experience in human resources with Winona area businesses. She has a bachelor's degree from Winona State University and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Human Resource Services Advisor
Beth Ede joined Winona Agency in 2008. A graduate of Winona State University, Beth has over 15 years of experience in Human Resource leadership with both large and small employers. Beth supports the Winona Agency teams and their clients with research and education on the ever-changing landscape of benefits and human resource issues. In addition, Beth closely follows Federal and State legislation that affects employers of all sizes. Beth is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Department Administrative Support
Mary Moham, Department Secretary, joined Winona Agency in 1968. Mary provides administrative and clerical support to the Employee Benefits Department.
Tina Peters joined Winona Agency in the fall of 2013 as an Account Administrator. She is currently seeking her Associates degree from Minnesota State College Southeast Technical with expected graduation in the spring of 2014. Tina provides administrative and clerical support to the Account Executives and the Account Managers.
